Solar System Research!!

We are ready to turn our classroom into the solar system! Before we do that, we need to do some research!!  The students are working in partners to learn about each of the planets in our solar system!  We are using books, articles, and the Internet to learn as much about each planet as we can!

Phases of the Moon!!

Everyone loves Oreos!! What a great way to learn the phases of the moon by nibbling on Oreos to carve out the phases of the moon with frosting!!:)

Solar System!!

This week we started studying the Solar System. We are learning about our sun, moon and the planets. We even made "moon sand" to replicate what the surface of the moon might feel like.
